All my life, I thought I was missing something. Something that I knew I wanted but realized I'd never get the change to get. I missed getting a part of my youth. Something that when I'd look at it today, I would remember the great times I had when I was young and free.
And that something was the autograph from any or all of the iconic band, Nirvana. I was one of their biggest fans during their heyday. I worshipped Kurt Cobain, wanted to be friends with David Grohl and had mad respect for Krist Novoselic! Even though the band had a lot of changes in their members throughout the years, it's these legends that I'll always remember! Even to this day, they're the only ones that matter, really. And I say that with the utmost respect to the others.
Anyways, little did I know that that something was actually already in my house! I didn't know that somewhere in my closet, my wife had a stack of Nirvana posters with all three icons' autographs. When I saw it, I was so taken aback, I might have gone through the wall! They were there, the autographs of my favorite musicians to ever play on Earth, right there in my closet.
Apparently, my wife was a groupie of the band when we were both young. She'd follow them everywhere, run toward them when she got the chance, and I wouldn't be mad if she actually showed her boobs to them while at a concert. Heck, if I were here, I would have done the same! So all the posters were results of her following them around for a good number of years. It was only when Cobain died that she stopped.
Somehow, I managed to convince her to share these posters with the rest of you. We have our own copies, but it's always better to share more of the Nirvana magic, especially to people who want it and need it the most!
