It's been a while since I watched a real tearjerker about a dog. I've been a dog-lover all my life so when it comes movies, the ones where the canines are the protagonists, I'm all here for it! I even go so far as to get the autographs of the casts as well, hoping they'd leave a pawprint.
Alas, that's never the case. Though I still appreciate all the autographs I've received, would kill the movie studios to let their pups leave their pawprints on my movie posters, notepad, and the like? Geez! Anyway, the recently released flick, "Dog," starring Channing Tatum, Kevin Nash, Ethan Suplee, and Bill Burr, was another that captivated me. So much so that I asked my friends to get their autographs for me. You see, I'm acquainted with friends in high places. I've sent many posters, snapshots, notepads, and more, requesting they'd get signed by major Hollywood stars. And up until now, they haven't disappointed me!
So for "Dog," a movie that's all about an army ranger (played by Tatum) and his (titular) dog, I just had to have signed posters of it. The cast is great too! Everybody already knows how much of a star Channing Tatum is, but to have former WWE superstar Kevin Nash and legendary comedian Bill Burr to star alongside him, it's a big deal!
Even though i knew my friends were pretty busy—despite the pandemic, I might add!—I knew that they'd do this favor for me. Actually, they were already about to send me copies of the "Dog" movie poster since they know I'd love it. But before they could ship them off, I asked them to have signed first. Of course, I also asked if they can get the dog's pawprint on them too but they immediately said no. Lol! Oh well, at least I tried, right?
In any case, around a month after I told them my request, the posters arrived. They already told me beforehand that the entire cast won't be able to sign it but at least, Tatum, the film's lead, did. As well as Nash, Burr, and Ethan Suplee. Though I still would've preferred a parprint from a Hollywood dog, I was still happy with the posters. And I knew that I wasn't the only one who'd like a piece of these movie memorabilia treasured so I decided to sell them online through this shop!
I'm hoping fellow movie and dog-lovers would find this autographed poster charming. Watch the movie too! It's amazing and got me in the feels many times!
