In Hollywood, there are stars and there are movie stars! Even when it's become easy to get famous nowadays, the prestige of having starred in iconic movies is only reserved for a chosen few. One of them is the amazing Tom Cruise. From "A Good Few Men" to "Mission: Impossible," the guy is a legend.
It's no wonder he's still one of the top leading men in the movies today. He just has this aura that's indescribable. I couldn't put it into words myself when I met him in person. I was so absorbed by his charm that it felt like I was talking to the president or something. That's the magnitude of Tom Cruise's star quality.
As a journalist, I was lucky enough to have gotten an interview with Tom Cruise and the rest of the "Top Gun: Maverick" cast on the set of the highly anticipated sequel. Practically everyone was there, from returning cast members like Cruise and Val Kilmer to the new additions like Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller, and Glen Powell, among many others. They were all a delight to talk to. I was never that interested in "Top Gun" (the first movie) to begin with but talking to the cast got me hooked on the sequel.
At the end of the interview, when I was given some of the first few copies of the movie poster, they even signed all of them for me. That's how nice this new cast is. I barely had to ask them before Tom Cruise offered to sign the posters and the rest of the cast followed.
And speaking of Tom Cruise, I'm sorry but this post is all about me gushing over this man! He's so nice, so handsome, and so charming. Even if all of it was fake, I still happily fell for it all. Like, I can't believe Katie Holmes divorced this man! Though I don't know her side of the story, but still! Tom Cruise is the most charming man I ever met! Even my own husband would succumb to his charms in a heartbeat. When I told him all about the movie star, he wasn't jealous at all. In fact, he was more envious of me having met Tom Cruise instead, LOL!
Although I can't share my memories with Tom Cruise with all of you, I can at least share these posters signed by the great actor himself. And I also encourage you to watch "Top Gun: Maverick" when it comes out too! I'm sure it'll be amazing! I know the cast is.
