I'm not a worldly traveler. In fact, I don't I've ever gone to the Eastern hemisphere. I've been to Europe a couple of times. I've also been to Central and South America, but that's probably it. what I've always wanted to visit was Japan. As a huge fan of Anime and Manga comics, it's my dream destination.
So imagine my envy when I found out that my friend Frank was going there on a business trip. He'll be in Tokyo for a week and Osaka another week. I was so jealous I didn't speak to him for like three days. Fortunately, he knew what was up and let me blew off steam (yeah, I'm a bit childish like that, so sue me!). Anyways, when we finally started talking again, I gave him my dream itinerary for when I go there. Particularly in Tokyo where there are a lot of Anime and Manga havens.
When he was there, we kept in touch on social media. He went to most of the places I told him about, ate the best food, and even met a few other friends along the way. I was honestly glad he had a great time there even though, every time I would see his posts, I would die of envy. But you know what? Frank is such a great guy, he never rubbed it in my face. He only just said that he wished I was there to enjoy Japan as he did! A great guy indeed.
Little did I know, he'd prove his greatness to me when we finally met up again after his Japan business trip. He gave me a surprise souvenir. It was a stack of copies of the movie poster for "My Hero Academia" signed by the cast and crew! I was floored! I was so caught up with him being there that I forgot that the movie premiered there as well. Frank told me one of his clients in the country pulled some strings got him and his co-workers some passes to the premiere. And he got me authentic posters signed by the people in the movie! It was amazing!
I don't know if I could ever repay Frank. Not even my sister, whom he married just last year, I don't think is enough. Now, Frank is my brother(-in-law), but he's always been family to me!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
