Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story below:
Oh, the things I'd do for Peter Pan! I'd fight pirates with him. I'd build enormous treehouses for our home with the "Lost Boys." And I'd save all my pixie dust and believe I can fly so I soar to the skies alongside him. Ahh yes, these were my boyhood dreams. But recently, I do a little adventure-in for Peter Pan.
From my various sources and connections around the country, I had received word that some signed "Peter Pan" 1953 movie posters had popped up in some vintage and memorabilia stores. Fortunately for me, my job allowed me to work online wherever I go. The bad news, however, was it drained a lot out of me, financially.
Still, going to all these States—some, I'd never thought I'd ever go to—felt like I was chasing Peter Pan off to Neverland. And seeing the original cast's autographs on them made the trip even more worthwhile. Seeing their handwriting. I felt goosebumps imagining that the real (well, real voices at least) Peter, Wendy, John, and Michael all wrote on these pieces of history.
And so, after a month of traveling all over the country, I collected all of these posters. Most of the way they were signed, as well as their positions on the poster, tells me that a lone autograph-hound (or a team like nowadays) might have gotten these signatures all at once.
Well, if that was the case, I'm sure that this hero of mine won't mind that I share his good work with the rest of the movie-loving world. Peter Pan and Tinkerbell would certainly agree!
