There are just some stars that you simply gravitate towards. Even when you're just seeing them on screen, you can't help but be drawn in and marvel at their talents, looks, and charisma. That's why when I heard that two icons, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, would be starring in a move together entitled, "Gravity," I instantly thought that there's no other title that could have suited them better!
I've been a fan of both of them since I can remember. I fell in love with Sandra Bullock when I first saw her in "Miss Congeniality," and would never have thought that this beautiful comedy queen would one day win an Oscar (and be nominated for more!). As for George Clooney, the guy has swag like you wouldn't believe. I instantly idolized him when I watched him in all those "Ocean's" movies. He, to me, is the modern-day incarnation of Clark Gable. No other actor of his generation comes close!
But you know what's even more amazing? That they're just as beautiful, attractive, and charismatic in real life! I had already met them in person when I would hound for their autographs during all sorts of red carpet events back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Then I figured, since "Gravity" was definitely going to have a red carpet premiere, that I'd go and get their autographs again. And it's a good thing that I did!
When I saw them that day, posing for cameras on the red carpet, I remembered just how much their presence will really gravitate you towards them. It was no wonder that most of the photographers that time were shouting their names and wanted to shoot them. They just have an air about them that you won't see in just any other ordinary Hollywood celeb. You know they have greatness in them; that beyond their good looks are real talent and authentic charisma. It's like they were made to be stars from the start!
The best part, however, is that they're also both so nice to their fans. When my friends and I asked them to sign our posters of "Gravity" that night, they didn't even hesitate. Clooney looked as slick as ever, not showing signs of aging even though he's been the same for decades. And man, is that guy smooth! I tell ya! I'm not the least bit surprised he bagged a successful lawyer for his wife! If I were a woman, I'd probably drop my panties for him in a heartbeat too! What is his secret!?
Sandra Bullock, on the other hand, also doesn't look a day over 25! She's stunning in every sense of the word! And although other younger starlets also came to the premiere, she held her own and was still the star that night! It also didn't surprise me that she'd get nominated for an Oscar for her performance in the movie. She just keeps getting better and better!
In my honest opinion, stars like these only come once in every generation. I'm glad I was able to get their autographs while they're still enjoying their prime under the spotlight!
