Okay, I know my title sounds weird, but hear me out (or in this case, read me out!)! For those of you whoa re unfamiliar, no, I didn't watch perverts who watch other people. Nor did I watch guards on duty by the lighthouse or something like that. I did, however, see the 2009 film adaptation of DC Comics' "Watchmen."
I remember loving it then, and when I rewatched it again in preparation for the new HBO series, I still love it now. Granted, comic book movies are more successful now, they really don't make these like they used to. And this movie was just a decade ago! For me, this film remains one of the most highly underrated of its genre. I even find it better than some of the MCU films, and like most of them!
When I rewatched the film, I went straight to the attic to find if my signed copies of the movie poster were still there. Lo and behold, they were! Smart me from ten years ago had the bright idea to keep them safe in a locked box and kept neatly away in a corner of our attic.
Seeing them again, for the first time in years, I still find it insane I got the likes of Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Patrick Wilson, Malin Akerman, and Matthew Goode to sign them. A lot of them have had or now have great careers! And with the new HBO series coming up, these will probably be worth a lot!
And so I decided to give some here. I left myself two copies, while the rest are now with Poster Memorabilia. Seriously, if you haven't seen this gem, go watch it! You never know, you might just end up buying a poster I had the cast sign from over ten years ago!
