The True Side of the Suicide Squad That's Rarely Seen

I thought that the cast of the first "Suicide Squad" movie was already awesome. They had Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Jared Leto, and more! You couldn't ask for a better cast than that, right? Well, I was totally wrong! The second movie, "The Suicide Squad," had an even better cast! And I got to meet them.

Thanks to a couple of my buddies who work at Warner Bros., I got a behind-the-scenes look at the new DC blockbuster. For an entire week, I got to tail around my friends as they worked on the movie, meeting its amazing cast along the way. I wish I could've taken pictures but the deal was that I can see all the action up close, but I can't snap photos. As a result, I didn't even get to take a selfie with any of the celebrities. I did, however, get their autographs instead!

Along with this film set tour, my friends also got me a few copies of the movie poster. I got to see it before anyone else, even before some of the cast members themselves! My buddies knew that I'm a huge autograph hound and so they whipped these up for me so I can ask the cast to sign them. It was sort of like an alternative to taking selfies. Though I would've loved to have gotten a pic with Margot Robbie dressed as Harley Quinn, I was more than happy with this instead.

To be completely honest, asking actors for their autographs in the middle of filming a superhero flick is quite the adventure. Some were never than others, but even when I was met with disdain and attitude, I couldn't fault them for it. There they were, some of Hollywood's brightest stars, getting beat up by all the actions scenes they had to film. And throughout all that time, there was this annoying fan chasing after them for their autographs? I was more surprised that they never cussed at me or beat me up, LOL!

Overall, however, it was an unforgettable experience. I got to see Margot Robbie in the flesh—she really is hella gorgeous in person!—got to meet my childhood idol, John Cene, and watch the legendary Viola Davis do her thing in front of the camera. For a week or so, as I hounded them for their autographs, I got to see these Hollywood celebrities actually work. They weren't posing on the red carpet or getting caught by the paparazzi partying in a club. They were doing honest-to-goodness work. It was pretty inspiring!

Now that "The Suicide Squad" has been released, I can finally share this story. It's more than just my tale of autograph-hounding. It's about how someone who lives his life chasing after celebrities finally got to see what makes them so remarkable in the first place.

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
