I swear! "American Ultra" is the most underrated gem of 2015! It's such a fun, hilarious, and cool movie and I can't believe it practically flew over everyone's heads! Where's the big fandom for this? Was I the only one that loved the movie? This is insane!
Well, I don't care anymore! If people want to miss out on such an electrifying film, have at it! It's their loss! Anyways, this movie has one of the best star-studded casts I've ever seen! Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, the great John Leguizamo, and the legendary Bill Pullman! I can't believe they got this amount of talent in one film! When I heard about who will appear in this film, I made sure I'd go to the red carpet premiere to hound for their autographs! The autograph hound in me wasn't going to let this go!
My memories are, I admit, pretty hazy of that night. It was so loud and busy and typical of what you'd expect in a red carpet event. I was surrounded by fellow fans just screaming bloody murder to get the stars' attention. I don't blame them, though I was a bit more strategic with my screaming. I made sure to make a fuss if I was certain I'd get their attention. And by the number of autographs I got that night, I'd say I did pretty well!
Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart were the epitome of cool! They just had this laidback aura and chill vibe that you know is authentic. They were so cool too! They were generous with fans, taking selfies with them and giving their autographs. That night, I had a couple of movie posters with me and thought I'd get them to sign at least one or two of them. But no! Both of them signed most of my posters! I think even all, I never really made sure! Either way, I was glad that they were nice enough to do that. I'm sure other stars of their caliber would have just signed one and be done with that!
I also almost shit my pants when I saw John Leguizamo! The guy's a legend! In the 90s, he was the actor to cast in all of the movies! I'll never forget him in Baz Lurhmann's "Romeo + Juliet" myself! He's the coolest Tybalt I've ever and will ever see! It made me so happy that he was also a cool guy in real life. I didn't feel an ounce of ego in him. And just like Eisenberg and Stewart, he was pretty generous with his autographs too! What a guy!
I still got the rest of the cast's autographs that night as well. It was definitely a fun night! To those of you who haven't seen it! Believe me! "American Ultra" is the bomb! You're missing out if you don't watch it! I'm sure it's online in websites or streaming services or something!
