The Irresistibly Wicked Reunion I Thought I Would Never See!

"I put a spell on you!" I remember singing back when I first watched "Hocus Pocus" on VHS. To this day, it continues to be one of my most favorite films. I've always had a soft spot for Halloween films, particularly family-friendly ones where I don't end up crying or shaking.

The way some people watch Christmas films to get into the holiday spirit, I often watched "Hocus Pocus" every October to get myself ready for Halloween. Yeah, it used to be that big of a deal for me when I was younger. But even today, I still watch the movie sort of like a tradition. I'd always buy two bags of Halloween candy, one to give away to Trick or Treaters and another to gorge on while I watch the flick. Now, even my fiance does it with me. I've "put a spell on him" if you will, on loving the movie as much I do.

So imagine my complete and utter surprise when I heard that they were going to reunite the cast together for a special anniversary celebration a couple of years ago. I was so thrilled I instantly bought tickets to it. I surprised my fiance with it during his birthday and then made plans to head on over to Hollywood where it was to be held. I also got my posters, even took the one out of its frame, in the hopes of getting them signed by the cast.

Well, my hopes were realized. The event was a huge success and a lot of fun. For me and my fiance, it started rather sourly. We had an argument right before leaving the hotel and it resulted in us getting in late. We barely caught the last part of the movie as we took to our seats. Right after their screening, they held a meet-and-greet with the fans. We both lined up, posters in our hands, and waited our turn to meet these icons.

After ten minutes, the first one I met was Bette Midler. A movie icon in her own right, I was so starstruck by her. As I was with Sarah Jessica Parker too. I loved her in the film the most. And it was weird because every time she talked to me, I'd refer to her back as 'Carrie' (yes, I'm a Sex and the City fan too!). Meanwhile, Kathy Najimy changed the most out of the three witches. She lost a lot of weight and was looking (and probably feeling) her best! It was such a thrill seeing those three again. I was already in my late 20s then but after I met them, I instantly returned to my 8-year-old-self!

To those of you who haven't watched film, you're missing out on a good time! Come October this year, but yourselves a big bag of candy, download this film or buy it on DVD, and enjoy watching! It's a Halloween treat you won't forget!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
