Part of what makes autograph-hounding unique is that you have to do it yourself. It's part of the thrill of it. Getting to meet A-list celebrities. Seeing what they're like up close. And getting their autographs are all the fun stuff one experiences with this hobby. But there are some cases where you'll need some help!Â
One such case that happened to me was when I wanted to get Rita Ora's autograph. Fate always has different plans for the both of us as whenever she's in my neck of the woods, I'm usually out of town. Whether it's for my work or for personal reasons, I no longer think it's that much of a coincidence that her concerts and other gis in my area always befall those dates.Â
This went on for a few years until finally, I grew desperate. She was holding yet another concert in my town and yet again, I had to go to another state to look after my grandmother. This time, I sought help from my friends. I have a good college buddy who's as big a fan of Ora as I am. I gave her my copies of the "Ora" poster and instructed her to get, at the very least, three of them signed.Â
I've grown so frustrated with the matter that I went as far as to promise myself that, if my friend fails, I'll no longer be a fan of Rita Ora. Of course, I didn't tell my buddy that. I didn't want to pressure her with it. And thank goodness I didn't cause she accomplished it! When I got back, not only did three of the posters get signed, but all of them!Â
The best part was that there was one that Rita addressed me personally. My friend must have told her about all these coincidences, so the singer jokingly apologized that we keep missing each other. Don't worry, Rita Ora, one day, I'll meet you myself!Â
