If there's one word I can use to describe "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." it's epic! The movie, the stars, the premiere! It's no "Avengers: Endgame" but I find it just as awesome. And I'm so glad I was able to go to the red carpet premiere.
There I was, in sunny Los Angeles, making a wreck of myself as I watched these iconic actors pose for the cameras. I brought a couple of movie posters with me and I was desperate to get their autographs. Fortunately, as with any other MCU actors out there, most of the cast engaged with us fans. And yes, most of them signed my posters too! It was honestly incredible because I've been watching many of these actors all my life, way before "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." Seeing them in person for the first time took me out!
I have to be honest with you, I barely remember how I interacted with the stars. I'm sure I managed to get their autographs because I can see them on my posters plain as day! But how did I do it? I'm still not sure. I do remember what I felt when I first saw them up close. I remember thinking that Benedict Cumberbatch was taller than I thought. Elizabeth Olsen took my breath away because she's exactly my type. Benedict Wong seemed like a fun guy. And Rachel McAdams never changed since I watched her in "The Notebook."
Nevertheless, while I forgot what I told them, I do slightly remember how nice they all were. They didn't look annoyed, they smiled at me brightly, and I didn't feel a hint of an ego. They looked confident and right at home in the spotlight, sure, but they weren't arrogant about it.
There are two awesome actors I wasn't able to meet first-hand. Of course, this also means that I didn't get their autographs too. The first was Chiwetel Ejiofor because, well, he wasn't there. I'm not sure where he was but it was a shame he didn't attend the premiere. The second? Sir Patrick Stewart. Damn! I'm still salty about this because man! The guy's a legend! If I've gotten his autograph, I'd be boasting about it for the rest of my life.
Anyway, at least I still got Chiwetel Ejiofor's autograph thanks to a couple of my friends who work with the actor. It took them a few weeks but the wait was all worth it. I still wish I got Patrick Stewart's autograph but oh well! I'm sure I'll have lots more chances in the future.
These posters will always be special to me. They're reminders of one of the best nights of my life! I hope other MCU fans out there will appreciate these just as much as I do!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
