Miley Cyrus has Come and I am Here For It!

Seriously, is there a more woke and feminist queen today than Miley Cyrus? Sure, I'd understand that, before, especially during her "Bangerz" days, she wasn't exactly the image of women's power and female strength. But now, she sure damn is! Especially with her latest album, "She Is Coming!" And I'm all here for it!

I'm honestly just so in awe of her and her new album. She's so unapologetically female in it. Tough, but tender. Hot but honest. And for her to be so upfront about her lady bits got me so inspired. She's taking into account her own body, her own femininity, and her own person and make them, literally her own. That no other person, especially not men, can own her body, mind, and soul. At least, that's what I got from listening to it again and again. And I hope other music lovers heard the same thing too.

But you know what? She's just as awe-inspiring, if not more so, live. The energy she brings to the stage is second to none. She's much more crass, more unapologetic, and more honest when performing in front of people. And I have the luck to have been one of them when I went all to the way to the UK to accompany my boyfriend in Glastonbury. He was there to see other bands and EDM DJs, But I, on the other hand, was there to see Miley. It was actually she who became the clincher for me to travel across the pond and see this festival myself.

And you know what? I wasn't disappointed. As I've mentioned earlier, Cyrus is just phenomenal onstage. I prepared for it prior to going to the UK by watching YouTube videos of her live performances. Even then, I was already getting goosebumps just watching her through my laptop and phone screens. But watching her actually in person? I was a wreck!

Though I'm afraid I was in even worse condition when I actually met her. I may have been drinking a tad too much when I saw Miley during a meet-and-greet after her performance. I honestly don't remember what I said, all I know was that I was there to get my posters signed. And by some miracle—or with my boyfriend's help—I achieved that mission. I woke up after Glastonbury with all my "She Is Coming" Miley Cyrus posters signed by the queen herself!

So that's what fangirl can lead to. Going overseas and meeting your idol half-drunk and everything. I was just lucky I had a loving beau to help me not totally embarrass myself in front of her. Here's to hoping y'all have that special someone in your lives too!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
