Meeting "The Revenant" At The Oscars!

The Academy Awards red carpet was the last place I ever expected to meet a 19th-century frontiersman. Well, I kid! Who I actually met was none other than Leonardo DiCaprio. The reason why I referred to him as a frontiersman was because he was so convincing in "The Revenant." No wonder he won the Oscar for it!

This wasn't the first time I went to the Oscars red carpet to hound for autographs. Since I moved to LA in 2010, I've been going to this event every single year. I always pick one movie out of all the nominated films and get the cast's autographs on it. And since this year, DiCaprio was the heavy favorite to win the Academy Award, I needed to get his autograph. It's historic to have gotten it on the night he finally won his first Oscar. And yep, that's exactly what happened!

Though I was planning to get the rest of the cast to sign my posters too, I only really focused on getting DiCaprio's. Although, with my luck, I also got Tom Hardy and Will Poulter's autographs too. The former really is so intimidating in real life. It wasn't that he acted tough or anything like that. In fact, he was actually nice and friendly. But he just has this aura that attracts you but also warns you to stay away. I can't put my finger on it, really! Anyways, now I know why filmmakers always cast him in gangster and tough-guy roles. He really is perfect for them!

Will Poulter, on the other hand, bless his heart! I'm sorry but he really looks like Sid from "Toy Story," lol! He looked dapper in his suit and all, but seeing him up close, I finally understood the memes surrounding him and the cartoon character. Nevertheless, he was pretty game in signing all of my posters. He was the only one who wrote on all of them! What a nice guy!

And finally, my man of the hour, Leonard DiCaprio! Seeing him face-to-face, I finally understood why my sisters squealed over him and put up his posters in their room back in the 90s. The guy is handsome! I'm a straight man but damn! I'd fall head over heels for him any day! Even more so now since he's become quite the distinguished gentleman. Incredibly polite, kind, and so personable, he had no qualms signing my posters even though his agent was already rushing him to post for photographers. I knew, at that moment, that he really cares a lot about his fans!

As I predicted, DiCaprio finally won his first Oscar that night. And that made these signed posters even more priceless! Don't you want to get your hands on these must-have memorabilia?

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
