The cast of the "Fast & Furious" franchise really is one of the greatest. The fact that they've reprised their roles for many times now and can still get audiences to the edge of their seats is quite something. And off-screen, they're simply some of the nicest people you'll ever meet!
I would know because I've met them! I often go to their red carpet premieres and get their autographs. But it was during the premiere of "Fast Five," that I realized that these guys—for a bunch of Hollywood A-listers—are all right. You see, since the first "Fast & Furious" movie, I've been going to the premieres of all the franchise's installments. The first time I did it was because I'm a huge fan of Paul Walker (may he rest in peace!) and I had a crush on Jordana Brewster. But as the films get better and better, I began going for the sake of seeing the next installment.
Sometimes, I'd bring along some of the movie's posters to get them signed. Other times, I was there with my digital camera to snap some pictures. But it was only at the premiere of "Fast Five" did they actually recognize me. Brewster, whom I expressed my love to when the first movie premiered, was the first to recognize me. She gave me a hug and even joked that I was "the love of her life," (I wish! lol). Then Vin Deisel smirked the moment he saw me and said, "Hey! It's you man, how're ya doin'? You're gonna enjoy this one, bro! I just know it!"
Even the newer members of the cast were gracious as well. Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, Elsa Pataky, and more! Though they didn't recognize me, they all still signed my posters and hugged me as if I was an old friend. It was glorious! And moments later, I saw all of them in action and I felt even prouder that I was able to get their autographs. I had chills the entire time I was watching!
I don’t know about other franchises, but the "Fast & Furious" guys are the best! I hope they'll continue making movies until 2030 and beyond!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
