The Haunting Beauty of The "Black Swan"

Having met her in person, Natalie Portman is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful women in the world. She looks like a doll so much, it's almost unbelievable. Mind you, I met her when she was still pregnant! And even then, her youthful beauty flowed unlike any other!

If you're wondering how a nobody like me could ever have met a pregnant Natalie Portman, well, it was during the Academy Awards. I was fortunate to have gotten a ticket to the red carpet event, taking a front-row seat as the stars entranced us in their best. During that year, Natalie Portman won her first Oscar for Best Actress for her work in "Black Swan." I will never forget that film myself. It haunted and thrilled me to no end. Such a masterpiece! And such a deserving Oscar win too!

Looking like a beautiful rose in her purple dress, she was every bit the beauty she looked on-screen. An Old Hollywood-type beauty that you can't help but be entranced by. No wonder she's always being compared to Audrey Hepburn. I've always noticed that Portman had that same sort of youthful charm to her, even though she's also one of the most mature and intelligent actresses in the business today. When she came to my part of the crowd and I asked for her autograph, I felt like I was in the presence of an angel. And when she gladly signed my posters, I realized she really was one!

While Portman was the angel, the ever-so-sexy Mila Kunis was definitely the devil. And I mean that in a sexy, not as shade to imply that she's a bitch. On the contrary, she was anything but! Like Portman, Kunis was generous with her autographs, signing most of my posters even though I really only asked for one. I only extended one poster to her for her to sign but she told me to hand her more if I wanted. Being the opportunistic chick that I am, I gave her more and she signed all of them. What an amazing woman!

I also met the beautiful Wynona Ryder on the red carpet as well. This was before her major comeback in "Stranger Things" so, unfortunately, she wasn't as big a deal as the two lead actresses of the film. However, as a 90s girl, she'll always be a major star to me! So, of course, I had to get her autographs too. Looking so fresh and pretty, I remember thinking it was such a shame that she wasn't that in-demand of an actress anymore during that time. Little did I know that a couple of years later, she'd take TV by storm with a thrilling series on Netflix. It's a good thing I got her autograph back then too!

I eventually got the rest of the cast of "Black Swan" to also sign my posters but it was those three that really left an impression on me. Most especially Natalie Portman! I'm so happy she won the Oscar that night! I actually lost my voice screaming in excitement for her as I watched it live from the cheap seats!

I hope Natalie Portman stars in many more movies. That face deserves to be on the big screen till the day she dies! Here's to hoping that'll be far away from now too!
