Looking Forward to Tomorrow with An Awesome Action Movie

The red carpet premiere of "The Tomorrow War" was the first live event I went to after the pandemic. Or at least, that's what it felt like. I know the pandemic isn't technically over yet but seeing all the pomp and circumstance of the premiere gave me such hope. It really made me think that things are finally starting to look normal again.

Before Covid-19 happened, I was an autograph hound who went around Hollywood, chasing A-list celebrities and never giving a damn about anything. Even when the stars were visibly annoyed, when they still gave out their autographs, I forgot to feel ashamed about my hounding. The rush was invigorating, so when we were forced to stay at home for about a year or so, I felt like my life ended. I was bored to death and my life almost lost its meaning.

Don't worry. I didn't contemplate suicide or anything like that. I was just... bored. And I hate being bored. Even if others think autograph-hounding is a pathetic hobby, it was still exciting. I was proud of it and I couldn't wait for things to get back to normal so that I can attend red carpet events again.

And there was no better movie to attend my first premiere after we were finally allowed to go out again than "The Tomorrow War." It stars Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, J.K. Simmons, and more. I was so excited to get their autographs that I barely slept the night before. To this day, I can't even believe I lasted for hours. There I was, surrounded by photographers, fans, and fellow autograph hounds alike, but I was just as energized as ever. I couldn't wait to see this amazing cast and ask them to sign my movie posters.

Actually, perhaps I was too excited because I felt like everything happened so fast. It was like the event went by in a flash! I barely remember interacting with the cast but I got their autographs on the posters so there was undeniable proof that I did. What I only remember now was that the whole event was noisy, the fangirls beside screeching over how hot Chris Pratt was were annoying, and for some reason, I came out as a bigger fan of J.K Simmons than I ever was. It's possible I had the best interaction with the Academy Award-winning actor out of everyone in the cast.

Anyway, regardless of whether I remember what went down at the premiere or not, the autographs prove that it was a night well-spent. Looking at them makes me even more excited. They were proof that movies are finally being shown in the theaters again and that they're also back to holding lively red carpet premieres. I'm literally shaking as I write this, thinking about the many Hollywood celebs I'll ask for autographs.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow now more than ever. And I’ve got this awesome action movie to thank for that!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
