The Stunning Court of "Dune"

I've got to say, "Dune" has the best cast I've seen in a while! I mean Oscar Isaac, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and the great Charlotte Rampling all in one film? Sign me up! In fact, I did more than just sign up. I went all the way to the Venice Film Festival just to see its world premiere and to get the cast's autographs.

To say that that was the best night of my year is an understatement, especially since I spent most of 2021 staying at home. If it weren't for my friend, who works as a photographer for an entertainment publication, I wouldn't have gotten a chance to see this incredible cast in person. Not to mention get them to sign my stack of "Dune" movie posters too. I wasn't able to get all their autographs but I'm still proud that I got most of the big names in the movie.

Right off the bat, it was surprisingly easy to ask Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya for their autographs. I'm not sure if it's because they're young and at the prime of their careers but they were so accommodating to fans. They also looked amazing too. Zendaya in her skin-tight draped gown and Chalamet looking dapper in his simple ensemble. They had such immense star quality that I couldn't help but be drawn to them, even when they've already walked off after signing my posters. I'm sure their stars will shine even brighter thanks to this movie.

Now, if you want to talk about Hollywood star power, however, there were Oscar Isaac, Javier Bardem, and Josh Brolin. Isaac and Bardem were specifically striking as if they could mess you up just with their stares. Perhaps it's the Latin blood in them? I don't know. All I know is that they define that classic leading man look, one that I'm sure Chalamet will grow into after a few more years in the biz. Brolin and Dave Bautista, on the other hand, who both wore sunglasses to the red carpet, had a cool confidence in them that wasn't cocky. It was masculine without being toxic. They were great!

Of course, I can't leave out the beautiful ladies of the film too. Rebecca Ferguson and Sharon Duncan-Brewster looked so impeccable. They personified elegance on the red carpet—Ferguson with her floaty pink and nude dress and Duncan-Brewster in her eye-popping green gown. When I asked for their autographs, they were so gracious, I almost felt the need to bow down. I really felt like I was in front of royalty. And speaking of Hollywood royalty, I was a bit sad that the legendary Charlotte Rampling wasn't there. Now, if you want to talk queen, this woman personifies it. She was a movie queen then and is still a movie queen now!

I wish I could go back to that night. It was one of the best experiences I'll probably ever have in my life. And here's to hoping the film wins a ton of Oscars. I'm definitely rooting for it!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
