To this day, I'm still amazed at how Paramount Pictures got their all-star ensemble cast for "Kung Fu Panda." I mean, this cast is everything and everyone: Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, Lucy Liu, etc. These are all A-list celebs and the fact that they got them to star in an animated film? Amazing!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to meet all of them during the premiere. For now, actually meeting the likes of Angelina Jolie and Lucy Liu will remain just a dream for me. However, I did meet both the lead star and a screen legend. So, at the very least, I got a few things out of enduring the Hollywood premiere of the movie. Dustin Hoffman surprised me the most on that day. I was just pleasantly shocked at how extremely humble she is. Here is this industry icon and he's so not full of himself. And he's one of very few who actually deserve to act that way.
Jack Black, meanwhile, was just as funny as you'd think he was. He has such a zest for life and it's completely contagious. I even think that I might have screamed when he signed my posters. And I think it was because of him. Not like, because I was so flustered with meeting him, but rather he led a chant or something and suddenly people were shouting!
Anyways, this movie is still a goldmine for me. It's an incredibly inspiring film made with some of Hollywood's finest!
