I've always thought of ranches as boring places. They're remote farmlands that, without the novelty of animals, are really just plain old grass fields. However, I never would've thought that a sitcom about a ranch would be so funny! That is until I stumbled onto Netflix's "The Ranch."
Starring Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Debra Winger, and the great Sam Elliott, It was a hilarious family comedy that's bound to be an instant classic. I can't believe it wasn't so popular but oh well, people have different tastes in comedy. Nevertheless, I watched it from pilot to finale and I continue to binge-watch it from time to time. It's just so funny to me! And yeah, because of it, I found a new appreciation for ranches. If not for this pandemic, I would've gone to one a long time ago!
Anyway, back to "The Ranch," I was, however, lucky enough to have gotten autographed posters of the series. I still can't believe it when I'd see the posters signed by the cast themselves. I've never been one to be into this sort of stuff, I just enjoy watching movies and TV. But I do have to admit that I enjoyed "The Ranch" so much that, if the opportunity ever presented itself, I'd definitely ask for their autographs. But it never happened so how did I get these awesome posters? From my awesome buddies, of course!
Despite never having any interest in that sort of stuff, I am friends with a couple of guys that are. They even moved all the way to Los Angeles, near Hollywood, so they can meet celebrities and ask them to sign stuff. I actually found it neat how they were so gung-ho about it, enough to move to a different state. And thanks to their effort and determination, they've racked up quite a collection of autographed things.
When I asked them how they ever got the cast of "The Rance" to sign these posters, they told me that it took them years to do it. They went to where these stars hung out, on red carpet events, got tickets to talk shows where the cast were guests, and so on. They never told me specifics or anecdotes on when, where, and how they met them, all they said was that this was a labor of love. Also, it helped that one of my buddies in this group was just as obsessed with the show as I was.
And so, since I got this out of the generosity of others, I decided to share them with all of you fellow "The Ranch" fans out there. My buddies gave me the OK to sell some online and I couldn't have picked a better partner than Poster Memorabilia to do the job!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
