Pledging Allegiance to "Allegiant"

I really do think that the "Divergent" series, both the books and the movies, are underrated. They're popular enough, yeah, but I would have thought they'd receive the same amount of hype as "The Hunger Games" or "Percy Jackson." But it seems it has a cult following that hasn't really grown since the movies premiered.

Oh well, as they say, "more for me!" I've been a fan of the movies ever since they first premiered and then went on to read all the books. I grew to love "Allegiant" the most so you can imagine my excitement when I found out that it will also have its own movie adaptations. I remember, when I went to the movie red carpet premiere for "Divergent," I brought a lot of movie posters with me but I wasn't able to get any of them signed. I did see many people get autographs, but me? Zilch!

This time around, however, I had a new strategy in mind! Screw the red carpet premieres! I'm going right to the source: the cast themselves! Well, at least my cousin will! That's right since my first cousin got a job at a famous entertainment website, he got the chance to meet the cast of "Allegiant." He was going to interview them during their press junket for the film. The moment he told me about that assignment, I shamelessly asked him to get their autographs for me. And that was asking for a lot because my cousin is actually shy.

But I knew he loved lil ol' me and I went on to abuse that! Sorry, Kev! Anyway, I acquired a few copies of the movie poster from cinemas all over the city (yes, I also have connections with them! Don't ask!) and gave them all to my cousin. I asked if he could get the actors to sign most, if not all of them. I realized it was a tall order, especially for someone like him, but I got kinda desperate. I still managed my expectations though!

Luckily, however, Kev exceeded my expectations! No, actually, he shattered them and beat them to a pulp! Not only did he get my posters signed, he actually got most of the A-listers to sign practically all of them! I saw Shailene Woodley, Miles Teller, Naomi Watts, and Octavia Spencer’s autographs on them! They looked like they should belong in a movie history museum or something! It was incredible!

I asked him how he ever got all of these big celebs to sign these posters and he said that his babyface helped! Whatever that means (well, I probably know what that means but I ain't sharing!). Nevertheless, I'm still grateful that he actually did that! I knew it must have been unbearable to do something that embarrassing (for him, anyways). Ugh! Love him!

As per our deal, we both went to the movie premiere together. Some cast members even recognized him as they walked down the red carpet. It was amazing to see! And, of course, the movie was spectacular! I'm glad I pledged allegiance to this epic!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
