Hollywood Hero's Most Suitable Role

For me, Tom Hanks has always been Hollywood's ultimate hero. And no, he never needed an action-packed role to be that! In his many movies, he became everyone's favorite toy, an inspiring astronaut who went to space, and showed what it means to be 'young-at-heart.' And just recently, he also took on the role of a pilot who saved his passengers.

"Sully," in my opinion, was one of Tom Hanks's best roles. It still baffled me as to why he wasn't nominated for an Academy Award for such a performance. But at least he won a lot of other accolades instead! Anyway, this actor just fits the role of a hero. Almost most of his works are inspiring, moving, and riveting—a true work of a real artist! I've also actually known of the store of Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger. My friend has a cousin who was on the actual flight. So to see this legendary screen icon take on the role of a real-life hero, it was like a match made in heaven!

Seeing him in person was something I did not want to miss! So when I heard that they'd be premiering the movie in New York, I just knew I had to go and try to get their autographs. I paid a pretty penny to get tickets to the event and acquired a few copies of the movie poster. I was determined to get them signed by my real-life Hollywood hero no matter what!

As I expected, everyone was gunning for Tom Hanks that night. He was the star of the movie, after all! He looked like an absolute gentleman with his suit and tie, very much the distinguished gentleman he's always been. And what a nice guy too! He was all over his fans that night! He took selfies with them, hugged them, and gave them his autographs. And yes, that included me too! In fact, he didn't just sign one of my posters, he practically signed all of them. It was because of this that the rest of the cast also took the effort to sign most of my posters! It was all because of him! What a guy!

The big shocker of that night, however, was Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger! The real-life hero actually attended the movie premiere. And since the film touched on some delicate parts of his life, the fact that he was there to face them head-on really showed just how honorable of a man he is! A true hero in every sense of the word! Unfortunately for me, however, I wasn't able to get his autograph!

I also wasn't able to get Clint Eastwood's autograph too. This Hollywood legend, who directed the film, was just too intimidating! Like damn! His eyes on-screen alone will have you wetting yourself but in real life? I was lucky I got myself together when he was near me! It would've been awesome had I gotten his autograph. These posters' value would skyrocket, that's for sure!

In any case, I'm still happy I got Tom Hanks's and the rest of the cast's autographs! I'm hoping his career will have him taking on more heroic roles in the future! Yes, even when he's old and gray!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
