The Voices Behind Disney's Underrated Masterpiece

I think this post will reveal my age but I don't care. With years of experience, at least I've mastered the art of autograph-hounding. And one lesson I learned is that every movie counts. Even animated ones. In fact, some of the best films I've seen were animated, particularly "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."

I was still young when it first came out, and since then, I've always praised it as the best movie ever to come out of the Disney Renaissance. Even better than "Beauty and the Beast" and "The Lion King." The filmmakers and animators' subtle approach to lightening the dark and mature tones of the original story was such a triumph. And when it did get dark, especially in the "Hellfire" scene, it always sent me chills. Not to mention the killer cast that voiced the beloved characters.

Having remembered the lesson I learned about 'every movie counts,' I sought to get the cast's autographs. It took me a while to complete them, but they were all worth it. One of the stars of the movie, the great Demi Moore, was relatively easy to get to. As one of the more public celebrities in the cast, she'd appear practically everywhere in Hollywood. And I and my friends followed her to almost each and every one of those places. But it was on the red carpet of an MTV awards show(I forgot which one exactly) that we finally got her to sign all our posters.

The second star we most remember was Jason Alexander, who voiced the gargoyle Hugo, of "Seinfeld" fame. It was also on the red carpet of another obscure Hollywood event that we were able to track him down and get him to sign out posters. The rest of the cast, well, my team took care of them!

If you think Disney is all just a bunch of fluffy fairytales, allow this wonderful masterpiece to disagree. It's a great movie should be used to teach animators and filmmakers what great children's cinema looks like!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
