I'm sure fellow overzealous fanboys can relate to my title. If you're a Post Malone fan, it's more than likely that you've almost lost your voices screaming at one of his concerts. It's always so lit and hyped up, you just can't help but shout. And this is why I'm a huge fan of the rapper.
At first, I admit, I was a little apprehensive. I thought he was another run-of-the-mill strange-looking artist trying to gain fame by acting all quirky. But when I heard his album, "Hollywood's Bleeding," I became an instant fan. He doesn't mess around. He knows his rhymes, knows his music, and put out the best of 'em for this album. I remember I got so obsessed that I listened to it every single day for about a month. My roommates almost pounded me for playing it even late at night.
I fact, I got so into Post Malone that I managed to get a ticket to his "Runaway" tour that started not long after he released the album. And when I was there, I became an even more intense fan. I was kicking myself for not having listened to his music sooner. I shouldn't have been that dismissive of him in the first place. I admit it was because of his goofy look that put me off. However, I should have learned, especially with the history of the music industry, that the goofier an artist looks, the better he/she probably is. Even his older music is great!
I was on such a high that in the middle of the concert, during an intermission, I went to the merch table and bought as many posters as I afforded. I made it my mission to get all of them signed by Post Malone that night. The thing is, though, was the second half of the concert was even better than the first, I screamed louder and louder until I basically lost my voice. Again, I kicked myself even more, cause when he'll do his meet-and-greet after, how the heck will I be able to ask him to sign my posters without my freakin' voice!?
Fortunately, my good pal Bryce said he would help me. We both went in line and waited for about half an hour before we met Post Malone himself. I could only utter a subtle "Hey" and "How're ya doing?" before my voice finally let go. Bryce then took my posters and asked the rapper himself. But, I should stress, he was nice enough to tell him that those were my posters. So he (Post Malone) signed all of them. One dedicated to me, another for Bryce, and the rest with just his signature on them.
Even though I was silent, my smile and my excitement must have shown that I was screaming inside. Right then and there, I discovered I decided to stan a great guy!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
