Meeting My Darling Rita

No, I'm not really that personally close to Rita Ora to refer to her as "My Darling Rita." But oh, wouldn't that be wonderful? I just love her so much! I'm just a fan, that's all. Albeit a strongly passionate one, but alas, just a fan no less. But I do often fantasize that I'm friends with her, though not in a psycho way!

In fact, my love for her only grew when I finally got the chance to meet her. And no, I didn't faint, nor scream, nor try to kidnap her! I'm telling you, I'm not a psycho! But it did feel awesome seeing her in the flesh, actually listening to her perform live. I got goosebumps all over and even to this day, I can still remember that feeling. She was simply magical, which is why I am how I am when I talk about her. A little bit weird, sure, but never dangerous or insane.

You might be wondering right now where on Earth could a bestselling artist such as Rita Ora ever meet an almost-crazy fan such as myself. Well, it was where all of the world's people meet: New York City. I was there working for an Interior Designer and she was there as a guest on a late-night talk show. I, of course, went and made sure I was in the audience during the taping of her episode. Fortunately, luck was on my side at that time cause I made it in.

I was with my friend, and equally-almost-crazy Rita Ora fan Amy and we watched in awe as our favorite idol took to the stage. And when she bantered on with the host, we laughed as if we never laughed before. She was awesome, and it was one of the best nights we had in the city. Of course, it was made even better when we actually met Rita Ora. Amy and I, as well as other fans from the audience. rushed to the stage door after the taping to be able to catch and meet her. Again, Lady Luck was on my side at that time too.

She said her hi's and hello's in that raspy British accent and we loved her even more for it. She then signed our posters, that of her "Phoenix" album image, and that's when we were floored. Because she not only signed just one of each but she actually signed each and every copy of the poster Amy and I had. And we had quite a number of copies, mind you! Still, even though they were mostly all the same, she still signed each one. What a queen!

I honestly believe Rita Ora is one of the most underrated artists of our time. Hopefully, these posters of ours, that she signed herself, might change that!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
