Billie Eilish is one of those unique stars that are just as entertaining off-stage as they are on-stage. There's something about her personality that makes her a show, and that you wouldn't know what's to come next just by talking to her. And she really is an entertaining person, let's be honest!
I met her one time when she was a guest at a late-night talk show here in Hollywood. She was funny, witty, knew how to take a punch, and was simply delightful. You won't think she was this emerging teenager who just became famous in the last few years. She seemed like a veteran; as if she's been doing TV interviews her whole life. Well, she may have dreamt about moments like these when she was younger and have been practicing, but still!
It was after the show when I met her. And even then, watching her interact with fans was entertaining. She was cool and awkward at the same time, which is weird, I know, but that's the only way I could have described her. I asked her for her autographs on my posters and she said yes, but then when she realized she didn't have a pen, she suddenly became adorably awkward. She even giggled a little, which made me giggle, and we both looked weird and funny at the same time. Yep, that's Billie Eilish for you!
Still, she signed my posters, gave me a big hug, and went on with her way to meet other fans at the stage door. Though I'll never forget how she acted at that moment. At the same time, she was cool and awkward, and fierce, yet giggly. I've never met any celebrity like her before and probably ever again. She's one of a kind, that's for sure!
