Don't you just love movies spearheaded by women? Not only can they accurately present women's stories, but they're often aesthetically pleasing. Also, they often cast some of the most beautiful actresses of today. Only a women's eye can make a frame look incredibly beautiful. And if there's one film this year that really proves that, it's "Paradise Hills."Â
This is a fantastical thriller that has elaborate sets, extravagant costumes, and fine makeup. And it doesn't hurt that their cast of actresses are all at the primes of their young beauties. Emma Roberts, Eiza Gonzalez, Awkwafina, Milla Jovovich—these are all so beautiful. Not only that, but they're also incredibly talented. Yeah, I admit, I'm so distracted by their prettiness, but they also gave amazing performances. They really got me—I cried, I laughed, I screamed... I did everything. And for a film to get me to do everything gets five stars from me!Â
I fell so in love with the movie that I just had to meet the stars in person. I'm so lucky I live in Utah because this is the home of Sundance. And if y'all didn't know, "Paradise Hills" premiered here. So I had the privilege to have met all these beautiful actresses on the red carpet. The one I wanted to meet the most was Emma Roberts. I've been a fan since her AHS days and I'm so glad she gets to show off her serious acting chops in such a project. Milla Jovovich, I love as well! Like, hello! She's an icon! Enough said!Â
Awkwafina charmed me the most if I'm being honest. I thought she was annoying in "Crazy Rich Asians," but take off the tacky wig and even tackier "rich clothes" and she's a cool chick! Also Danielle Macdonald. Now, this is a future superstar who doesn't care about Hollywood's sexist standards. She's got her own beauty to sare and she ain't givin' it up for anyone. More power to you girl!Â
I'm so glad I met them and that they all signed my posters. They're all so amazing and their film, "Paradise Hills," is crazy good!Â
