Hey, if you're going to spend the holidays with someone, why not a rock star? For our winter honeymoon, I took my wife to Los Angeles. The city of angels and dreams coming true, we felt it was a great place to experience the finer things in life. Especially since our life back home is pretty modest.
Little did we know, right there in the same city, our favorite artist was holding a concert! Eddie Vedder! It was actually through his music that I and my wife grew close to each other. We spent most of our youth in the record store and we'd jam to his songs all afternoon. And even when we drifted apart after high school, when we were both starting out in our jobs, it was Eddie Vedder that got us through it all. It as if it was fate that we happened to come to LA for our honeymoon the same time he had a show!
Of course, we just had to get tickets to see the show. But the thing is, it was already sold out then. And since we weren't able to get tickets online, we thought it was hopeless. That is until a short man came to us with two tickets ready for the taking. He was a scalper, and although we usually don't get tickets through such means, we were desperate. Thank goodness his price wasn't that big, at least to our standards. But we still had to buy many posters as well. It was like a promo thing.
So, thanks to the scalper, we were able to see Eddie Vedder live. It was the best part of our honeymoon! That and when we got to meet the man himself! He held a meet-and-greet after the show and my wife was able to persuade him to sign all the posters we bought from the short man. I, on the other hand, got him to pose in a picture with us! He is truly the best!
Since we got lucky then, we've decided to throw the good karma back and offer up some of these signed posters on this website. I hope they bring as much joy to you fellow Eddie Vedder fans as they have for us!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
