I have been a huge Bryan Cranston fan since forever! From "Malcolm in the Middle" to "Breaking Bad," he's consistently the best thing on TV. Heck, I'll watch even when he's on a trashy rom-com starring the annoying James Franco! Yep, I actually went and saw "Why Him?" at the movies! More than that, I even went to the premiere.
Here's the thing, I actually didn't want to watch the movie myself. By the trailers alone, it already looked like it was your typical American rom-com garbage. Nah bruh, that ain't my cuppa tea! But this friend of mine, a girl I secretly like, is a huge James Franco fan and she wanted me to accompany her to the red carpet premiere so she can meet the guy in person. Yeah, I'm in love with her but damn, she has trash taste! Anyway, seeing as this was an opportunity for me to act like the ideal boyfriend, I went with her anyways!
I figured at least I'd get to see the incredible Bryan Cranston, right? Walter muthafuckin' White himself! When my girl told me she wanted me to help her get the cast's autographs, I was planning on just getting his and be done with it. But I know that won't fly with her so I gotta ask the others too!
That was my first time going to an event like that and it was so loud. Like damn! The fans need to calm the fuck down! It's not like these celebrities are curing cancer or anything! Like yeah, I'm a huge Bryan Cranston fan and all but I wasn't screaming bloody murder to get his attention. That was frickin' annoying! Especially the chick right beside us. She was so desperate to get to James Franco, you'd think he'd have sex with her or something! At least my girl wasn't like that! She was a fangirl, yeah, but she wasn't annoying about it. It's part of what I love about her!
So you can imagine how pissed I was when I saw her gushing over James Franco when she was signing her posters. Oh yeah, in case I hadn't mentioned, we brought movie posters for the cast to sign. That's how cute my girlfriend is (yeah I know! I'm dreamin'!)! But yeah, her eyes were practically glued to him, it just pissed me off. I tried hard not to show her how annoyed I was but whatever!
At least I think I did get back at her when I gushed at how Zoey Deutch was cute! I got her to sign out posters too! Actually, Deutch kinda resembles and sort of acts (I mean, in her real-life persona) this girl. I hope to God she picked up on the implications of how much I acted as attracted to the actress! She's gorgeous and nice but pretty dense! Anyway! Deutch was really pretty cute too and was nice to us. She was down-to-earth and signed practically all of our posters. I didn't see that asshole Franco be as nice though! Kidding!
And finally, after we got the rest of the cast's autographs, it was my man Cranston! The legend himself! As I expected, he was awesome! He was kind, personable, and just a good guy! He seemed fun too, goofing off on the red carpet like it's nothing! When we got his autograph, I kid you not, I was sweating bullets! I couldn't take it that Walter White was so near me! I can almost smell the narcotics from where I stood! Just kidding! But still, it was incredible seeing him in person!
Do I recommend "Why Him? to you? Well, if you like that type of shit, live your life! But I'd rather you get a hold of these amazing posters instead! My girl and I worked hard to get them signed! Yeah, bitches! She's mine now btw!
