Seeing the "Fast & Furious" Takeover in Tokyo!

I'm so lucky to have traveled the world when I was younger. I saw some incredible stuff, from Machu Pichu in Peru, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, to the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul and even the temples in Bangkok. They're all so grand and great and everyone should see them when they get the chance!

But it was when I was in Tokyo that I really saw something not a lot of people have the chance to witness: a film shoot! At the time I was there for a big project for my company, "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" was being filmed. I saw, in person, all the exciting drag races and awesome cars that you all saw in the movie. In fact, I even volunteered to be an extra in one of the scenes. I'm not sure if I ever appeared though. I could never place myself when I watch it, but some buddies of mine claim they saw me onscreen.

Still, witnessing the behind-the-scenes of a big-budget movie was exciting! I got to see how they made the magic and seeing the finished product on the big screen was such a sight to see! Every time I saw it, even to this day, I'd get memories of my time in Tokyo. My friends there, my girlfriend there, and the gracious family who hosted me.

By the time the movie was premiering, I had returned to the States. Having been part of the movie—in my own teeny tiny way—I went to the premiere hoping I'd see the stars up close. Fortunately, I made a friend from the studio and he got me great access to the red carpet and into the movie. He even handed me a few copies of the movie's poster and told me to get the stars to sign them. Which, of course. I did. From Lucas Black and Nathalie Kelly to Sung Kang and Brian Tee, they all were gracious enough to sign my posters. It was a great day!

Even though I've settled down in the good ol' US of A, I'm still a bit of a jet setter. Here's to hoping I get more adventured like my little taste of Hollywood in Tokyo!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
