I'm pretty glad that they made "Death on The Nile" with so many incredible stars. Annette Benning, Kenneth Branagh, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, and more? These are big Hollywood names! For them to share the screen together is an amazing feat in and of itself! What more when they all sign the same poster?
Well, that's exactly what I have now hanging in my living room. Thanks to my friend who worked on the film, I have the movie poster of "Death on The Nile" signed by its incredible all-star cast. I never would've thought I'd ever get any one of their autographs, but to get all of them at once is amazing! I always knew being a friendly kid at school would pay off one day. I’ve been friends with this guy since we were in middle school and he often gives me these sorts of stuff. I'm glad he still likes me enough to give me this. If I were him, I'd have already sold everything online!
So basically, my friend was part of the crew of "Death on The Nile" and grew pretty close with its stellar cast. He wouldn't say that they were best friends or anything, but he was on speaking terms with them during the filming. So when the poster was finished, he told me that he didn't find it difficult to ask for their autographs. In fact, he also shared that getting the cast to sign the posters was a piece of cake. Damn! How lucky do you gotta be in order to get these famous celebrities to sign whatever you give them?
Anyway, since my friend knows how much I love autographed memorabilia, he gave me some of the posters he had signed. These were the first signed movie posters in my collection. I used to just collect mugs, caps, and headshots signed by athletes and celebrities. I never went for a signed poster because I wasn't used to dealing with big items like that. But surprisingly, when I got the poster, it was fairly easy to find a frame to hang the one copy I decided to keep for myself.
If it wasn't obvious already, I sent the other posters here in Poster Memorabilia. It's like they were a perfect fit; as if the company was started for my own convenience. I do hope other film buffs and collectors appreciate these posters just as much as I have. They're pretty special since they traveled all the way from across the Nile into my living room. Here’s to hoping no one died along the way!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
