After "American History X" and "Primal Fear," Ed Norton is back with a performance that's sure to take over the upcoming Awards season. Starring as Detective Essrog, who has Tourette's Syndrome, he tries to solve a borderline impossible case in what used to be one of the most notorious areas in the country: Brooklyn, New York.
Well, after watching the first screening of the film at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, it's safe to say that he delivered! Dear God I hope he wins the Oscar this time around! He already should have won with the movies previously mentioned, but this one really takes the cake! Even more so considering he directed the movie himself.
Now, though it's highly unlikely he'll win Best Director, I also hope this will happen to compensate for the blatant disrespect the Academy has shown this master actor for years now.
The rest of the cast deserves some recognition too! Bruce Willis, Willem Dafoe, Leslie Mann, Bobby Cannavale, and more were all top-notch in their respective roles in this film. They helped make the movie that suspenseful thriller that it was, as well as a great crime caper!
Fortunately, most of them were there at the premiere during the festival. I and my Canadian friend, whose house I crashed in during the festival, had the cast sign all our posters. And as you can see with this product, our mission was duly accomplished!
You know, film festivals, no matter how big or small, are still great ways to get autographs from stars. And you never know, you might just get that from someone who might, and here's to really hoping, finally win the Oscar!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
