"Jackass Forever" is the end of an era. And as a huge fan of the original MTV series and its subsequent movies, I went to its red carpet premiere. It was the night of my dreams, mostly because I finally got to meet the iconic cast of this game-changing franchise. I even for their autographs too!
Johnny Knoxville, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, and Jason "Wee Man" Acuña! These guys made my childhood the best it ever was! The little boy in me was literally jizzing when I finally saw them in person. They're a lot older but still the same jackasses I know and love. It was a shame that Steve-O wasn't there! The moron got Covid right when the premiere was held. I kinda hoped it was another awesome prank but nope! He really did test positive. Classic Steve-O dumbassery!
Anyway, at least I still got the other cast members to sign my "Jackass Forever" movie posters. I was most excited about Knoxville and Acuña! Next to Steve-O, they were my favorite jackasses! I'm so happy they're just as rowdy in person too! I mean, they were kind and polite enough when I asked them for their autographs, but when they were posing for the camera, they were joking around as if they were still on set. Damn, I'd like to be on that set myself! I wonder what sort of trouble they got into that they edited out! Hahaha!
As expected, the movie was a total mess in the best possible way. At the risk of spoiling the movie, all I'm gonna share is that they even got into trouble with the law. As far as I know, no one got incarcerated but I think some of them were so close to getting into the big house. And not to sound masochistic or anything but damn! That would've been one heck of a finale if that really happened, lol!
Back to my movie posters. I was so bummed out that they didn't have Steve-O's autograph. They didn't feel complete without them! So I posted about it in a private Jackass Fanclub I joined online and one of my co-members got me through one of Steve-O's people. This "person" told me that it'd be difficult to reach him since he was in quarantine and it was recommended to send him anything that he'll have to give back since he tested positive. So I had to wait a couple of weeks before I could send the posters to him but you know what? It was all worth it. In a matter of a few days, I got back my posts with Steve-O's autograph. Score!
These posters are incredibly special! They're proof of my devotion to a show that changed my life forever! Hope you fellow jackasses love them too!
