Days With The Reservoir Dogs

Do you know what Quentin Tarantino's most underrated film is? "Reservoir Dogs!" That gem is a classic! And what's even better, there weren't any big-named stars to distract from the genius of the writing and directing. Sure, Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, and Steve Buscemi are now all beloved, but at the time, and even a few years after the film premiered, they weren't A-listers, per se. And I say that with the utmost respect to those guys!

Hell, I even chased them around for years to get their autographs! He's a New York, like me, so at times, he doesn't mind entertaining fans. As long as, and this is important to note, you don't bother him. Cause the moment you do, you'd get a cussing, believe me! Fortunately, I went in for the kill at a good time. He was peacefully sipping his coffee at some shop in Brooklyn and, obviously bored, I approached him and confessed my love for the movie. He enjoyed chatting me up a bit about how things went down during the filming. Some stories I couldn't even repeat here! Still, at the end of it all, he agreed to sign all my copies of the movie poster. Good guy!

Steve Buscemi, on the other hand, was a bit easier. He was perhaps the nicest guy that I met from the movie's cast. I attended his meet-and-greet when I was in Hollywood one time. I didn't care that I had to wait about half an hour to meet him. Having his autograph on these posters was worth it. And so, after a grueling 30 minutes under the scorching LA sun, I met the bug-eyed man himself and all his sleazy glory. Nah! He wasn't sleazy at all. He's a stand-up guy, which makes his acting like such an asshole on-screen is a testament to his talent!

As for Tim Roth, I met him on the red carpet of the premiere of his movie with Nicole Kidman, "Grace of Monaco." Boy did that movie suck! but at least I got his autograph on my posters too. He was a real gentleman about it too. He didn't seem annoyed that I asked him to sign the same poster over and over again for about six or seven times.

I wish Hollywood will give these men more and better jobs. They’re nice people, and based on how differently they act in real life as compared to in the “Reservoir Dogs,” they’re hella talented too!

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
