The guy must be, like, 40+ years old or something but he's really just a plain old kid. But I don't mean that he's immature or something, no way! In fact, in all my years of autograph-hounding, he's one of the nicest celebrities I've ever met. It's just that he has a zest for life that most people within his own age bracket probably lost when they got older.
Now, you may be asking, "How the hell would I know? Am I his best friend or something?" Well, first of all, I wish! And secondly, I know this because I met him when I attended the 2019 MTV Movie Awards, which he hosted. I was there to cover the event as a writer for a lifestyle blog and got the chance to meet Shazam himself. And I kid you not, it really was as if I was talking to his onscreen character. He's so much like the mischievous superhero, it's insane! Sort of like not telling the difference between Tony Stark and RDJ, but ten times more!
After interviewing him about how he having hosted an awards show on his own for the first time, I went in for the kill. I got multiple copies of the "Shazam" movie poster and asked him to sign it. Yep, I grew some balls and asked for his autograph right then and there. I really thought security was going to push me away until Levi agreed. He signed every one of my copies and what's even better? He told me where to go to meet the rest of the cast to get their autographs too! Never have I ever met a celebrity so helpful to my autograph-hounding!
Hollywood, you're lucky to have a leading man that still has a pure kid's heart like Zachary Levi. Please don't destroy him!
