Thank God show business went on even during the pandemic. If not, we wouldn't have gotten the amazing movie that is "Moonfall" starring Halle Berry, Patrick Wilson, John Bradley, and Michael Pena. Also, I wouldn't have gotten the chance to meet them, up close and personal, in the set of the movie too!
I can't disclose how or why I was able to visit their set, but what I can tell you is that these actors know their stuff! There's a reason why they're at the top of their profession. Their dedication to their craft was inspiring! And mind you, they filmed the movie during the height of the pandemic! I, as a mere visitor, was already stressed enough of having to leave my home. There weren't even vaccines yet back then. As much as I wanted to meet these incredible stars, I wanted to prioritize my health first.
However, just like them, work was calling and I had to answer it considering how precarious jobs were at that time (and arguably, even up till now!). My only consolations were getting to meet this amazing cast in person and getting the chance to have them sign my movie posters. Yep, my company gifted me a few copies of the film poster because they know how much of an autograph hound I am. I wasn't going to let this opportunity slide!
And so, after I finished my work, I slyly approached each one. I didn't get to ask all the cast members for their autographs though, but I am proud I got the three stars—Wilson, Berry, and Pena. With all due respect to the rest of the cast, it's these three that are the big names in the movie. I just had to get their autographs no matter what! And thankfully, they weren't that difficult to interact with. Even though their amazing careers allowed them to be total divas on set, they were anything but! They happily signed my posters without hesitation.
More than a year later, I got the chance to see these actors again when I went to the red carpet premiere for "Moonfall." I wanted to be there for support and to thank them again for their autographs. Some recognized me and smiled while others were too busy with press interviews or were too distracted by the paparazzi to notice me.
Oh well! Their autographs are enough to make me feel happy I went to their movie set. Even when it was during a global pandemic.
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
