Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story below:
I wish people would stip bringing down vintage shops. These places are treasure troves for items from the past. Things that no longer exist in the real world. Going into one is like stepping unto a time machine and traveling back to the past. And unfortunately, these shops are becoming fewer by the minute!
I've seen one too many times wherein a nice vintage shop closed down. Or it was replaced by a corporation selling stuff you'd probably get in other places and at better prices. It's just so sad that these shining shrines of history had to go out of business for things that are so common. Even though vintage shops sell rare items with mountains of value, that doesn't have to mean that such businesses themselves have to be rare too. Luckily, the vintage shop around the corner from my place is still going strong.
It helps that the shop is near a community where history is actually revered and respected. A lot of places in our town still look like it was a few decades ago. Many of the same family businesses that my parents and grandparents saw are still around. And fortunately, the vintage shop is still very much alive as well, and they've got amazing pieces!
Just recently, I discovered a great find in it: a whole collection of "Licence to Kill" posters signed by the cast of the movie. Each one had an autograph of the legendary stars: Timothy Dalton, Robert Davi, Talisa Soto, Carey Lowell, and more! I remember how my dad used to love this film and the other Bond films of that era. Don't get me wrong, Daniel Craig's moves are amazing. However, there's just something the way the old boys approached Bond that seemed authentic and just as exciting.
I'm guessing not a lot of you have the luxury of finding this sort of treasure items in your area. The vintage shops there have probably closed down. So to share my blessing with you, I'm putting up some of these amazing autographed posters on this platform. I hope many of you appreciate the rarity of such items!
