Yep! You read the title right! I got THE Samuel L. Jackson to call me a motherf*cker! And no, he wasn't pissed off at me when he did it. Though I will admit, I'm not sure if I'll be all excited or shit my pants if he actually was mad at me when he said it. But now, he did for pure fan service!
I met him when I attended the red carpet premiere of "Avengers: Endgame". While my fellow autograph-hounds wanted him to sign their Marvel posters, I was able to get the movie posters for "Shaft," which was released months after "Endgame." How was I able to get copies of that movie poster, you ask? Well, let's just say I have my connections. In this game, connections are everything! You can only get ahead if you know someone actually involved in the Hollywood system. Whatever their role may be in the industry, if they have access to posters and celebrities, use them to your advantage!
Of course, when he saw what I got for him to sign, he was surprised. "How the hell did you get that?" he asked. I laughed and told him that I have a friend who works on movie posters for upcoming films, including his own "Shaft." Jackson then smiled, looked me up and down, and said, "Damn, you a crafty motherf*cker, aren't you!?" I and the fans around me roared with laughter. I couldn't believe he called me that. And while the word is usually regarded as an insult, I wear it as a badge of honor!
One of the best days of my life will always be when Samuel L. Jackson called me a 'motherf*cker!' If you don't know why that's an honor instead of an insult, we can't be friends!
