My Grandma's Collection of Legends

My Grandma's Collection of Legends

Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story below:

I've always known my grandmother to be a shy woman. She's always been this reserved, elegant, and refined lady. But after going though her stuff after she asked me to find something, I found out she had a couple of famous friends!

Well, that's what I imagined at least. One day, when I was hanging out with my grandma, she told me to go to the attic to find an old recipe book. She's all about cooking these days, and she's always said that her mom, my great-grandma, was a great cook. Rummaging through her stuff, I discovered that she was this refined young lady growing up. A society girl that became a debutante and all that stuff. Thank God that tradition stopped with my mom though!

Anyways, it was while I went through her stuff that I realized, there was a side to my nana that she rarely showed. Underneath a pile a tablecloths was a box, and when I opened it, I got the shock of my life. The box was filled "The Last Waltz" posters with autographs from Neil Diamond, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, and more! Ladies and gentlemen, my grandma was a groupie!

When I asked her about it, she turned red and was so cute trying to explain them. She admitted that she loved the concert and the rockstars that headlined it, but that her parents never approved of her listening to them. She escaped their house during the night of the concert and rocked it out all night. She even revealed that she first met my grandpa during that concert. Isn't that sweet?

Later on, she told me that I can have the posters, but I still left her one copy for memory's sake. After all, its proof that no matter how different I and my nana seem now, I actually got my alternative attitude from her!
