Thank God for "Game of Thrones!" We wouldn't have discovered Emilia Clarke's stunning beauty if not for the HBO epic! And despite what was a polarizing ending, I'm glad it didn't harm her career after the series. I'm so excited for what's in store for her, including her latest film, "Last Christmas."
I had the privilege of meeting this 'English Rose' when I attended the red carpet premiere of the movie in London. After emigrating here from the States when I married a British bloke, I thought I'll never be able to continue my autograph-hounding. Who knew Hollywood's next biggest stars came from across the pond as well? Anyways, the "mother of dragons" was just as beautiful in real life as she was on TV. Her eyes were big and bright, skin so fair, and a charming smile that lit up the red carpet. It's a shame she didn't smile as much in the series, that would have made for better shots!
In fairness, her co-star, Henry Golding of "Crazy Rich Asians"-fame, also had charisma. I'm glad Asian men are getting the recognition they deserve in show business. He, too, was charming on screen. In no time. he'll be the next Hugh Grant. Especially with that delicious accent. I swear, the British twang gets me every time. Why do you think I married an English man? Haha!
"Last Christmas" is your typical feel-good holiday movie that's perfect for a warm night in. Though you'll have to go to the theaters to see it. Oh well, at least you already have a movie for date night!
