The lengths I go to with my autograph-hounding! You probably think that all that autograph hounds do is to pounce on celebrities asking them to sign all sorts of stuff. But in truth, that's only one part of this whole shenanigans. Sometimes, you need an entire army to get the autographs that you want.
That was essentially what I needed for when I hounded for autographs from the cast of "No Time To Die." I mean, the movie has such a stellar lineup! Apart from the iconic Daniel Craig, 007 himself, there was also Léa Seydoux, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Ana de Armas, Ralph Fiennes, and Jeffrey Wright. In my opinion, this was one of the best casts ever assembled for a Bond film. And they've had a lot of extraordinary lineups back in the day!
What was so challenging about getting their autographs was that the premiere was held in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. I knew that some of them, especially Craig and a few of the main cast, would attend. But I figured it'd be impossible if they all attended. Some were probably too busy or preferred to stay at home to avoid health risks. So, how did I pull off getting most of the "No Time To Die" cast's autographs? I relied on my network.
I knew a few people who've worked with and were close with A-list actors, including the older members of the cast, Ralph Fiennes, and Jeffrey Wright. I figured that if there were any of the actors who'd skip out on the film's red carpet premiere, it'd be these two legends. And so, with the help of my acquaintances, I got them to sign my "No Time To Die" movie posters first. It was quite the ordeal, let me tell you! But we pulled it off nonetheless.
And then, of course, there was the world premiere. I wanted to ask the actors for their autographs myself so I went to London just to go for this. How did I manage to get tickets to such an event, you ask? Connections! If you're both an autograph hound and a movie memorabilia collector, you will need good connections. Ones that'll give you access to a world premiere! Not to mention help get autographs from some of the most famous people in the world.
As I expected, the premiere was a glittering affair. The cast looked incredible, the people were fangirling like crazy, and even British royalty made an appearance. I know I went there to get the film cast's autographs but I was so tempted to get Prince Charles and Kate Middleton's too. I am a fan of "The Crown" too, after all.
Anyway, back to "No Time To Die." Getting the rest of the cast's autographs was barely any trouble at all. These A-listers were pretty generous with their fan service, signing practically everything in sight! When I'd ask for their autograph, they don't even give it a second thought. And they don't just sign one poster, mind you! They signed all of them! Man, what a great bunch of actors. Even though the fans were going gaga over them, they didn't show a hint of ego at all. It was an incredible night!
Not surprisingly, "No Time to Die" did well at the box office. I heard it was even one of the highest-grossing films of 2021. And you know what that means, right? These posters are now more valuable than ever! Thank God I and my network worked our butts off to get them signed!
Please note: Our inventory is limited as we may have only received a few posters in total. Most of our items are obtained from film premieres, studios, and from autographed hounds such as the one in the story above.
